Building Resilience for Unpredictable Worlds
The IPS BODYGUARD Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) is an intensive 3 to 5-day program designed to prepare participants to operate safely in unstable or unpredictable environments.

It is intended for NGO staff, journalists, executives, expatriates, and private security professionals who may face threats related to instability, crime, or crisis situations abroad.
TRAINING APPROACH
Drawing from extensive field experience across Africa and other high-risk regions, IPS BODYGUARD instructors provide realistic and scenario-based training focused on anticipation, decision-making, and self-preservation.

Participants learn to manage stress, assess threats, react to ambushes or attacks, provide first aid in remote areas, and adapt their behavior to different cultures and local realities.
Our instructors include experts who have served in demanding operational environments and specialized units, bringing hands-on experience in tactical driving, field survival, and crisis response.
OUTCOME
This program develops the mindset, confidence, and composure needed to operate effectively in challenging environments, anywhere in the world.
