Not always. The choice is made with you, city by city and according to your profile. In some cases an armoured vehicle is the right standard; in others, a well-driven discreet vehicle on a well-chosen route is the better answer.
Are armed options available?
Yes. In Brazil, armed close protection is common and often the recommended standard, given the security environment. It is delivered by Federal Police authorised local security companies, in line with the Private Security Statute (Law 14,967/2024). Unarmed coverage remains possible for low profile assignments.
How quickly can an assignment be arranged?
Several days or weeks' notice is strongly recommended, particularly for armed protection, armoured vehicles, multi-city programmes or major events. This gives us time to assess the requirement, confirm suitable resources and complete the client onboarding, contractual and payment formalities. Short-notice requests, including 24 to 72 hours, may still be possible for existing clients or when timing and available resources allow.
